A Day Trip is a great way to see some bead production and get a chance to do some shopping if you have a limited time on your hands.

A Typical Day trip

Starts by being picked up from your Prague hotel at 8am and wisked away to Jablonec Nad Nisou a very important town if you are mad about beads.

It normaly takes about an hour and a half travel time.

Our first stop of is a Lamp-work bead factory/workshop

You will be able to see them being made by a group of very experienced ladies, who make it look so easy. You can have a go yourself. You will quickley realize that even making a colorful blob of glass is not easy :-)

They have a beautiful collection of lamp-work beads that you can choose from and a fantastic collection of jewelry.

Next stop of will be to find out how beads are pressed, tumbled, faceted and fire polished.

We also visit the Musuem of Beads and Glass, and then its time for shopping,

We are very flexable and try to cater for individual requirments for the rest of the day, aiming to get you back to your Prague hotel between 5/7 pm.
